Have you ever received a solicitation from someone via e-mail requesting your help to move millions of dollars from the accounts of a now deceased leader in a foreign country? Usually in exchange for providing your personal bank account information to provide a “parking” place for these funds you will receive a sizable commission to thank you for your help. These types of operations are simply scams that surprisingly continue to work each year raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars from persons hoping to cash in for helping someone else. Don’t be fooled by these attempts to provide you something in exchange for nothing. What appeared to be helpful is no help at all. You trust the message, do what it says, and you end up losing. We can also be scammed spiritually. It happens when someone distorts the gospel and proclaims a false message that they call the truth (salvation by works, for example). But often it's "a different gospel" (Galatians 1:6). Which is no Gospel at all. How can you avoid such a scam? By knowing the true gospel revealed by Jesus. Eternal salvation is available only by grace, through trusting in Jesus Christ and His death on the cross for our sins (Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8-9). Don't be fooled. Any other message is a scam! With Love,
