In Hebrew, the word "hand" (yad) is very significant.  Actually, in Hebrew nouns have their roots in action.  So the root word of "hand" (yad) actually is "to throw".  Your hand has the power to hit, kill and destroy but, on the other hand, has the power to heal, embrace, feed, lift up and give.  If we have hands, we have power to change other lives.  And in my estimation, this is the business of our community.  

We need to learn to recognize God's voice and follow His guidance. Just because we live in an age packed with noise, it doesn't mean that we cannot hear God speak. He still speaks. The question is: Do we know how to listen? So ... how do we listen?
