WHO IS FAM WINTER CAMP FOR?

FAM Winter Camp is designed for High-School students in 9th Grade - 12th Grade. 

 

WHAT DOES THE COST OF FAM WINTER CAMP INCLUDE?

The cost per student is determined by which registration option is available at the time of purchase. All registration options includes:

Admission to all sessions

Lodging for 2 nights

Snacks on Friday night. Breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday.

DO WE HAVE TO PAY THE FULL PRICE TO REGISTER?

Yes. All Registration payments are non-refundable upon purchase, yet fully transferable to a substitute registrant up to and including the day(s) of the event.

 

WHAT ARE PAYMENT DEADLINES?

December 28, 2022 : $150 Registration 

January 4, 2023: $175 Late Registration (No Hoodie Included)

 

IS MY REgistration fee REFUNDABLE?

WHICH MEALS ARE INCLUDED?

Smore’s on Friday Night, Breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday.

 

CAN FAM WINTER CAMP ACCOMMODATE FOOD ALLERGIES AND DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

Yes. If you are a student with allergies or special dietary needs, please list them in registration form. We will be glad to accommodate any requests that are communicated prior to January 04, 2023

 

WHERE WILL THE CAMP TAKE PLACE?

All FAM Winter Camp Sessions will take place at Allaso Ranch located at 2302 Private Rd. 7850 Hawkins, TX 75765

WHERE WILL I  STAY?

All registrants will stay at one of Allaso Ranch Cabins. 

Ladies and Gentlemen will be separated into two different cabins. Each cabin accommodates up to 64 students.

Private restroom in each cabin

No bed linens or towels provided

Central heat/air in all cabins

No open food or drink in cabins

 

How will supervision be planned?

Supervision will consist of a 1 adult to 6 student ratio inside the cabins in addition to a security team that will monitor common areas.

 

WHAT WILL A TYPICAL DAY BE LIKE?

A typical day at FAM Winter Camp will include Main Sessions, Crew Battles, time with your students in Crew Huddles, and planned activities to engage.

 

WHAT ARE Crew Huddles?

Crew Huddles is where your students gather together to build community, discuss and process, and share stories of what Jesus is doing in their lives.

 

WHAT ARE CREW BATTLES?

Crew Battles provide a high-energy, fun, and competitive element to FAM Winter Camp! Students are grouped into teams and led in large group activities as they compete throughout the camp.

 

WHAT DO MY STUDENTS NEED TO BRING?

Students should bring their Bible, a notepad or journal, a pen, beach towels, bedding, toiletries, water, spending money, and anything else they would normally bring to camping trip.

 

IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR FAM WINTER CAMP?

We want all students to feel comfortable and welcome at FAM Winter Camp and for there to be as few distractions as possible. We ask that parents be responsible for making sure all of their students bring clothing to dress appropriately during the weekend. Overall, please ask your students to be modest, smart and respectful with their attire.

 

DO I NEED TO ARRANGE FOR MY OWN TRANSPORTATION TO and from Camp?

A bus will be leaving from Arlington Adventist Church, 4409 PLEASANTVIEW DR. ARLINGTON, TX 76017, on January 20 at 5:00pm. We ask that all students be present no later than 4:30pm. In the case that a student is not able to make it to Arlington Adventist Church by this time, he/she will be responsible to make it to Allaso Ranch.
