AT THE HOME // Vol 1 Issue 6

Hey FORM KIDS families!

May was wild fun with graduations, investitures, celebrations, and Messy Church! But June is also filled with fun. Scroll down below to see what’s coming up.

Dads, step-dads, grandpas, brothers, and dad-figures, June is your month! Happy Father's Day! Thank you for all you do to love, guide, and father the teenagers in your life. You're incredible. Be sure to swing by the Annex for a little something for you on June 17.

WHAT we’re teaching +

Whether it’s with LEGO bricks, Minecraft, or Roblox, kids (and adults!) love to make things — and sometimes break them. In this four-week series from the very beginning of the Bible, we’ll compare God’s ability to make good things with our tendency to break them. Through the stories of creation, the fall, Cain and Abel, and the Tower of Babel, we’ll see that God makes good things, unbreaks what’s been broken, and made us different on purpose, so we should honor God with the things we make.

+ PARENT TIP OF THE MONTH

When our view of generosity is limited to how much money we can give, we can miss out on more meaningful ways to give and opportunities to teach our families what it means to be generous. Let's look at some money-free ways to practice generosity.

Here’s a resource for you +

Your family is busy and sitting down to do a devotion together may not be an option somedays. But what if making time to dive into God’s Word together could be the same as getting ready for breakfast, lunch, or dinner? The Family Cookbook Devotional combines family devotion time with the everyday experience of cooking and enjoying food together as a family.
