Broken to Peace

CLOSER TO JESUS

It is our sincere prayer that the focus of the coming days will bring you closer to Christ Jesus in Whom we find comfort, peace, and rescue. Make full use of any and many of the opportunities and resources to bless you during Passion Week:

PREPARING FOR EASTER
We encourage you all to participate in a devotional activity designed to help all of us be intentional in the way that we Listen to, Talk to, Worship, and Love God. Focused on Deuteronomy 6:4-9, this week long exercise takes five to ten minutes a day and is a wonderful preparation for the Easter weekend.

Download the PDF here, or stop by Facebook for daily updates.

Our Easter experience will culminate with virtual communion as a part of the church-wide Easter program, Broken to Peace. Be sure to make plans during the week to participate. Though we are separated, we are made One through the Body of Christ.

Let's make sure that no one misses out on the grace of God during this stressful time. Reach out via text or phone to at least two members of our church family! Ask them how they're doing. Share something that has encouraged you. Pray with them and for them. Click here or the above icon to participate.

CONTRIBUTE
In the midst and wake of the pandemic, our church will continue to play a vital role in the lives of our members and community in need. This season we not only need to be generous, but we are also asking for each of us to sacrificially give in order for our church to help and provide tangible care to those in need. LORD OF ALL

EASTER REFLECTION: LORD OF ALL
In this season, let us intentionally focus on Christ Jesus.
Dear friend and composer, Elia King shares a wonderful song for us to adopt and reflect upon. We'll be singing it Easter weekend, so we hope you will enjoy and learn it beginning today.

In the fire, in the flood

Through the need and through enough

We say Jesus, You are Lord of all

In the light, in the dark

With our lips and with our hearts

We say Jesus, You are Lord of all

Ever faithful, ever true

Ever sure to see us through

We surrender all to you

We say Jesus, You are Lord of all

In the sun, in the rain

Through the joy and through the pain

We say Jesus, You are Lord of all

In the calm, in the storm

When we sing and when we mourn

We say Jesus, You are Lord of all

Ever faithful, ever true

Ever sure to see us through

We surrender all to you

We say Jesus, You are Lord of all

In our doubt and belief

When we cannot hear or see

We say Jesus, You are Lord of all

And in life, until death

May we use our every breath

Saying Jesus, You are Lord of all

Ever faithful, ever true

Ever sure to see us through

We surrender all to you

We say Jesus, You are Lord of all
