NEXT STEPS
Pastor Oddie & Dr. Kisha suggest the following for you and your team in the weeks to follow the second cohort online session:
Complete Reading Growing Young: Read it with the goal of completing the book before the next online intensive. Make sure that all your team members have a copy of the book in the format they learn best in [i.e. hardcopy, electronic, audio].
Use Discussion Guide: With your team, use the discussion guide to process “Week 3.” [Discussion Guide in Cohort Kit 1 or 2]
Watch: The YouTube animation short “Brené Brown on Empathy.”
Take the Growing Young Assessment: The Growing Young Assessment is an academically-validated survey tool that provides vital insights about your church's effectiveness with young people. The Individual Version is available to take free of charge. Click the below icon to register and take it for free.
If your team meets two times for discussion and prayer before the next online session, that is great. You can meet more if you wish, but accomplishing the above steps to establish your momentum is the focus.
