Hello, FORM KIDS Fam!
The cold weather finally hit us! Some of us saw snow, others saw frigid temperatures! Winter is officially here, for a few weeks anyway. We have had a great start to our new year in Children’s ministry. There are lots of things to look forward to this winter and spring! Chili Cookoff is coming up as well as Kids’s Praise and a family night. Don’t stay at home but come out and enjoy time with your church family. Be sure to stay connected to the events happening with Children’s ministry by registering to receive texts updates.

As we move into a new year, it’s time to re-register for FORM Kids to receive updates and newsletters. Stay connected to calendar events through Instagram, Facebook, the church website, or receive text updates.

KIDS PRAISE // SABBATH
FEBRUARY 1 @5:00-6:00
Kids Praise is a time for kids to participate in worship through song, scripture, a poem or a game. Register on the link below to sign up for a time to participate in the Kids Praise program. If you are not participating, please plan to join us as we worship together!
FAMILY CONNECT// FEBRUARY 1 @6:15pm
Join us for a family game-night! Bring your favorite board game or card game and join us in the Fellowship Hall! We will play games and enjoy a Saturday night snack of Nachos!
MESSY CHURCH// February 26
Messy Church is a fun way to worship in a relaxed setting with your family. Come join us as we worship corporately every 4th Wednesday of the month. We will play games, make crafts, and worship together. End the evening with a simple meal prepared for your family. Registration is not required but allows us to plan food and supplies.
FAMILY CONNECT//Chili Cook-off
MARCH 1//6:30 in Fellowship Hall
It’s that time of year! Bring your famous family Chili to the chili cook-off and see if you can win the title of Spiciest Chili, Best Overall chili, or The People’s choice award! Whether you are a master chili chef or a master chili eater, come out and enjoy good food and fellowship with your church family.
4 YEAR OLD// SABBATH SCHOOL
Opens February 1
We are so excited to offer a 4 year old class! If your child is 4 years old or in PreK, they are welcomed to join this class in classroom-D. Parents are welcomed to stay in the classroom to offer the teacher support, or if your child is independent you can drop them off and attend your own class! Be sure to complete the check-in process at the front desk.
WHAT we’re teaching +
People love camping, and for good reason! You can take in nature, practice special skills, or just take time to relax in a new evnvironment. And when it comes to camping, no one loves it as much as John the Baptist. In this 4 week series, kids will hear about John the Baptist’s special role in preparing the way for Jesus and his ministry. John’s story will help kids to say their camp Moto, “I believe God gives me purpose. I believe God can speak to me. I believe God is powerful. I believe God’s words are true.”

WEEKLY FAMILY DEVOTIONALS +
Weekly devotionals are a great way to keep your children talking about what they are learning in Sabbath School class but to also engage the family in worship. Each week, read the Bible verse together, then complete the hands-on activities together. You can use these activities Friday evening before Sabbath School class or Saturday afternoon to review their lesson. Enjoy playing, laughing, and hopefully listening to lots of giggles as you lead your family in meaningful worship.
