FORMED HOLY TO GOD
APRIL 2026
AT THE HOME // Vol 4 Issue 4
Hello, FORM KIDS Fam!
It’s hard to believe we are already in the month of April! Spring season can be a busy season as we finish out the school year with field trips, school performances and spring parties. It can be difficult to carve out family time and sit at the dinner table even once a week. We know the value of family time and want to come alongside you to create memorable moments with your family. We often think we need to take a trip or plan a big family outing for the family, but oftentimes its the small moments we spend together that make a lasting effect and are remembered for years to come. This spring, continue to carve out time for your family to just be together. Perhaps take a night this month to play a board game, bake cookies, watch an old movie, play a game of soccer, or go for a bike ride in your neighborhood. Print or use the Bingo card below for family fun ideas!
What is FORM KIDS?
We desire to see families grow stronger in their relationship with God and each other, producing young adults who are confident in their worth: valued by God and their family. Here are a few ways Form Kids can help you as you disciple your children.
Messy church provides an opportunity for families to engage in worship together. Every 4th Wednesday @6pm. Dinner provided
Family Connect events provide an opportunity for families to play together. Throughout the year, dates change based on event.
Community Connection provides opportunities for families to form relationships with the larger church body. Occurs once a quarter.
Sabbath School provides weekly Bible study for kids and provides parents the opportunity to share their faith with their children as they teach a class.
Family Devotions provides weekly activities for families to easily complete together in the form of reading, questions, and an engaging activity.

Safety Sabbath
Safety Sabbath has been moved to April 18. Various safety procedures will be discussed during the services and there will be a test of the alarm so that members are aware of what to expect. Along these measures, here are a few safety procedures to keep in mind as we all strive to provide safety for our kids.
Sabbath School starts at 10:15. Check-in begins at 10:05. ALL elementary students (Prk4-5th grade) must check-in. Please do not leave any kids unsupervised in the classroom if the teacher has not arrived. Please stay with your child until a teacher has arrived.
Sabbath school ends at 11:15. Please be sure to pick up your child from Sabbath School class by 11:20 so the teachers can finish cleaning and make their way to Mosaic service with their families. ALL checked-in students need to check-out either from the classroom or from the front desk.
The main annex is open for families as they transition after Sabbath School to the next service. NO CHILDREN should be left unattended during Mosaic service in the annex. This safety measure is to ensure all kids are supervised by an appropriate adult. The doors of the annex remain unlocked during UG services and therefore it is not safe for children to be there alone.
Sabbath School classroom doors remain locked with a magnet in the doorframe as a way to quickly lock the door in case of an emergency. Following Sabbath School classes, classroom doors will be locked to prevent any hiding places. Restrooms are located in the main church hallway near the sanctuary as well as upstairs in the annex. If you forget anything in a classroom a deacon can open the door for you.
If you have any questions please contact Tonya@arlingtonadventist.com; any of the church pastors; or church staff. The safety of our kids is of the upmost importance so we are happy to partner with families as we create a safe space for kids to worship.

WHAT we’re teaching +
This series kicks off with the greatest news ever—Jesus is alive! But even his closest friends were surprised by what they discovered. Each week, kids will follow the clues in the Bible, looking at the stories leading up to Easter and connecting them to other moments in Jesus’ life and ministry. Along the way, they’ll see that the Bible isn’t just full of clues about who Jesus is—it’s the complete story of God’s love. In this 4-week series, kids will learn that the Bible says Jesus is alive, the Bible tells us Jesus loves us, the Bible reveals who Jesus is, and the Bible shows us how to share God’s love.
