FORMED HOLY TO GOD
MARCH 2026
AT THE HOME // Vol 4 Issue 3
Hello, FORM KIDS Fam!
Finding time to connect with your family in the rush of school, sports, and club activities can be difficult. Our children gain a sense of identity, self worth, and confidence through a relationship with God and their parents. Whether you are playing a board game that turns into full belly laughter or having a friendly competition against family friends playing your favorite sport; time spent together strengthens your family and your child’s sense of value. Kids determine their worth through how their parents look at them, laugh with them, and desire to be around them. This year as you strive to carve out quality time with your family, allow FORM Kids to come alongside you and provide opportunities for family time and engagement. We desire to see families grow stronger in their relationship with God and each other, producing young adults who are confident in their worth: valued by God and their family.
Messy church provides an opportunity for families to engage in worship together.

Safety Sabbath
March 28 will be safety Sabbath at Arlington SDA Church. Various safety procedures will be discussed during the services and there will be a test of the alarm so that members are aware of what to expect. Along these measures, here are a few safety procedures to keep in mind as we all strive to provide safety for our kids.
Sabbath School starts at 10:15. Check-in begins at 10:05. ALL elementary students (Prk4-5th grade) must check-in. Please do not leave any kids unsupervised in the classroom if the teacher has not arrived. Please stay with your child until a teacher has arrived.
Sabbath school ends at 11:15. Please be sure to pick up your child from Sabbath School class by 11:20 so the teachers can finish cleaning and make their way to Mosaic service with their families. ALL checked-in students need to check-out either from the classroom or from the front desk.
The main annex is open for families as they transition after Sabbath School to the next service. NO CHILDREN should be left unattended during Mosaic service in the annex. This safety measure is to ensure all kids are supervised by an appropriate adult. The doors of the annex remain unlocked during UG services and therefore it is not safe for children to be there alone.
Sabbath School classroom doors remain locked with a magnet in the doorframe as a way to quickly lock the door in case of an emergency. Following Sabbath School classes, classroom doors will be locked to prevent any hiding places. Restrooms are located in the main church hallway near the sanctuary as well as upstairs in the annex. If you forget anything in a classroom a deacon can open the door for you.
If you have any questions please contact Tonya@arlingtonadventist.com; any of the church pastors; or church staff. The safety of our kids is of the upmost importance so we are happy to partner with families as we create a safe space for kids to worship.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We are proud of the Children’s Program at Arlington Church. God has blessed our church with wonderful kids and parents. We enjoy the social time we are able to spend together and the time we get to dive deeper into God’s word. We want to equip our kids with a spiritual foundation that they can take with them as we launch them into the world. We want them to be salt and light to the world, so we want to fill them with God’s love and Word as much as we can now. If you have a passion to minister to young ones and help them develop a deeper love for God, please contact our church staff or Pastor Tonya to get plugged in. There are lots of ways to get involved! What a privilege we have to share our faith with the little ones God has entrusted to us.

WHAT we’re teaching +
Getting invited to a party is one of the best feelings, and being left out is one of the worst. But there’s good news- Jesus never leaves anyone out! He invites everyone to spend time with him, experience His love, and share it with others. This series will remind us that Jesus’ invitation is always open, and we’re never too far away to join the party! We are… invited to believe in Jesus, Love like Jesus, experience Jesus’ miracles, and ask Jesus for help!
