TRANSFORMED: The Miracle of Life Change
Is life change really possible? If we're honest most of us would answer, 'No.' That's because most of us have tried numerous programs that promise big changes, but in reality, deliver very little results. You long for transformation, but don't know where to begin.

There's good news for you and there is hope! Life change is possible! You were made to grow, to change, and to experience intimacy and adventure.

In this RightNow Media Bible study series, you will learn how life change can happen to you. Join Chip Ingram as he helps you to identify the barriers that have held you back from receiving God's best and then break out of a destructive lifestyle and become the person you've longed to be. This series is designed to help move you from the frustration of failure to the freedom you have in Christ. Click here or the above icon to start this study with Chip Ingram.

PIVOT: NEW
It feels as if "the only thing we can count on is change," and as unsettling as that may seem, might there be a grander purpose for the flux? Might we be pivoting into a new creation . . . in Christ.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. --Romans 12:2 [NIV]

PIVOT
Let GOD transform you. . . into a new person.

Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he’s already a friend with you. --2Corinthians 5:16-20 [Message]

DO WOMEN MATTER TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD?
Jesus was surrounded by both men and women during his ministry on earth. He saw, valued, and cared for women, and he still does today. Each one of us has a significant role.

Through this six-session study, you will discover who Jesus is through the unique perspective of women in the Bible. As you study the lives of Mary, Martha, Mary Magdalene, and others, you will learn from their faith and failures and be reminded that Jesus cared for and valued the women he was surrounded by. He equipped them, listened to them, walked with them, healed them, and empowered them. And he does the same for you now. Study guide by Sadie Robertson Huff.

Join Alex and Chrissy as we dive deeper into this study together, Wednesday’s at 7PM via Zoom. Email info@ygchurch.com for more details.

Start living that life today by embracing the principles of CREATION Life, a whole-person approach to health care that quenches the needs of the body, mind, and spirit. By making a few small changes in your daily routine, you can enjoy better health, more happiness, and a more fulfilling life.

WHAT IS CREATION LIFE?

Choice
Take charge of your destiny. The first step toward wholeness is realizing you are in control of your life.

Rest
Sometimes making time means letting go. Making time for rest and relaxation revives the body, reduces stress, and restores the spirit.

Environment
It’s not just what’s inside you, but also what’s around you. All of our senses — sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste — can influence our mood as well as our health.

Activity
Activity includes both physical and mental development. The mind and the body are intimately connected.

Trust in God Our faith, beliefs, and hope affect our health. Keep the faith and know that God is cheering you on in every endeavor, every day.Interpersonal Relationships Love and be loved. Surrounding yourself with friends and family strengthens y…

Trust in God
Our faith, beliefs, and hope affect our health. Keep the faith and know that God is cheering you on in every endeavor, every day.

Interpersonal Relationships
Love and be loved. Surrounding yourself with friends and family strengthens your will, improves your health, and lifts your mood.

Outlook
Your outlook impacts your outcomes. When you realize every day is a gift, you can give every day your all.

Nutrition
Goodness in, goodness out. Making small changes to your diet can have a big impact on your well-being.

Pastor Tom Grove takes a moment to interview Kenneth Rose for “Arlington LIFE.”

PIVOT: Let GOD Transform You. . . Into a New Person
”Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
--Romans 12:2 [NLT]

UNSTUCK: Are you stuck in a rut?
It's easy for Christians to find themselves caught up in the life of cluttered schedules, rhythms, and routines dictated by our culture. Many feel stuck in the routine of life—their jobs, relationships, and daily circumstances. They know it's not the life they dreamed of. And they feel stuck in a life yearning for deeper meaning.

The Unstuck Bible study has been designed to help guide you out of the ruts and pitfalls that so often ensnare us all. You will be inspired and equipped through the powerful biblical teaching of Mark Batterson, Francis Chan, Lisa Harper and Rich Stearns.

Each of these teachers will draw from the lessons of the award-winning short film Journey to Jamaa—a true story about two kids who are forced to search for hope in a broken world.

The dynamic combination of the film, profound biblical teaching and powerful real-life stories from everyday people will help you and your group get unstuck and back on the path to a life of purpose that God intends for you!

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR MINISTRY GETS STUCK
”Every year I connect with thousands of churches and leaders throughout the country. No matter the city, church size, or denomination, one of the most common questions I’m asked by leaders is, ‘How do I get myself and my team unstuck?’ Throughout my work with leaders in a diverse set of roles, I’ve observed these five simple steps to make your leadership more effective. —Matthew Deprez

STUCK IN A PIT: HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH STRUGGLE AND FAILURE
“As much as I wish I could surround my kids in bubble wrap and prevent them from ever suffering, I can’t. Pain happens—to all young people.

As a parent, the question then becomes, How do I stand—or sit or maybe sometimes crawl—with my kids when they face failure and struggle?

Despite the temptation to "fix" the situation, or simply "fix" our kids, that's not likely what they need from us. Here are 6 ways to be with young people as they face struggle and failure.” —Dr. Kara Powell

PIVOT: FROSH

1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. --Hebrews 12:1-3 [NIV]

KEEPING THE CONNECTION STRONG
”Like many families, the Powells are full of mixed emotions as our oldest son prepares to head off for his freshman year of college. As we navigated this summer, cherishing the many things we knew we’d be doing together for the last time, I wanted to send Nathan with a few mementos to remind him of the friends and family who will still be with him even after he has graduated and is a few thousand miles away.

I reflected on the meaningful way our church and family marked this milestone moment with our son, and tell of two items I wish we could send with every new college student. Let’s help young people keep their roots, even as they spread their wings.”

ARLINGTON CHURCH SUSPENDS IN-PERSON WORSHIP SERVICES

The Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists has strongly recommended that all our local churches close in-person worship services and activities through at least the month of July. Recognizing the significant increase in COVID-19 cases in Tarrant County and throughout Texas, the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church will, effective immediately, also be suspending in-person worship services in collaboration and agreement with the advisement of our Texas Conference leadership.

We know this is a shift after being open for three weeks and ask for your patience with changes in the midst of this dynamic situation. The health and safety of our congregation and community are in the forefront of our minds. We are grateful for the ability to continue, through the blessing of technology, to worship together and minister to our community. Please join us for worship services exclusively through our website or Facebook at least through the month of July.

Join us Saturdays, 10:00AM CDT, exclusively online, on Facebook LIVE or on our church broadcast platform.
