Our Homeless Ministry is a growing ministry dedicated to making a meaningful impact in our community through acts of kindness, compassion, and service. In partnership with local homeless shelters and organizations throughout Tarrant County, we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus by sharing His love in practical ways with those experiencing homelessness.
Through outreach events, meal preparation, and care package distribution, volunteers have the opportunity to serve, encourage, and support individuals in need throughout our community.
Opportunities to Serve
Street Outreach at Unity Park
Join our Street Outreach Team as we assemble lunches and essential care items in the REVIVE Community Center before distributing them to the homeless community at Unity Park. Outreach takes place on the first Sabbath of every even month (February, April, June, August, October, and December).
Homeless Ministry Meal Service
Become part of our Meal Prep & Delivery Team by helping prepare meals alongside other volunteers in the Fellowship Hall every fifth Sabbath. Meals are then delivered and served at Samaritan House in Fort Worth and other local homeless shelters shortly afterward.
Bags for the Homeless
Help collect supplies and assemble backpacks and care packages designed to meet practical needs within the homeless community of Tarrant County. These backpacks are distributed during our Street Outreach events at Unity Park.
