COMING ATTRACTIONS
INFINITE HOPE // 7PM NIGHTLY THROUGH THURSDAY
Hope isn’t something just for children. It’s real, and it matters right now. Infinite Hope was inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King's quote, "We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope."
Have you lost hope in the church? Might you have felt, “The church is full of hypocrites!” You’re not alone in thinking this. There are many people who love Jesus and what He represents, but can’t stand the hypocrisy that gets in the way. Join us as we journey together searching for infinite hope amidst the nonsense.
Join the journey 7:00PM CST nightly through Thursday. For all the details go to www.infinitehope2020.org
ARISE ONLINE
Everywhere you turn, people are full of contention, anger, and even hatred. It's so prevalent, and it's not without its effect on us. So how can you avoid getting caught up in all this?
Join Ty Gibson and David Asscherick this Friday, November 13, at 7pm CST for a special event. They will be discussing the Re-Creation chapter of the ARISE Online curriculum and answering your questions. What better subject matter is there to discuss than how God is going to restore and re-create this broken world? Click here to reserve your spot in this limited-space event.
BE THE CHURCH
Gabbie is one of our awesome volunteers who serves as part of the Media Ministry team. What you may not know is that Gabbie was born with Cerebral Palsy, and recently as part of her ongoing condition, both of her ear drums ruptured requiring multiple surgeries. Even as she was recovering from her surgeries, she faithfully attended online, sharing she looked forward to being "cleared" to return to church by her physicians. After her doctor's gave her the “okay,” she returned the next Sabbath, serving in the church that she loves.
You're invited to join Gabbie and the awesome others who serve as part of our media ministry team. No experience required, we love mentoring people of all ages and skill sets. Contact Ryan Gil and share with him your interest, ryan@arlingtonadventist.com
PURSUE GOD
THE DEEP CALLING: CALL TO HEALING
“By His wounds, we are healed” --1Peter 2:24 “
”Do you want to be healed?” --John 5:6
PRAYER
I want to come into the light of authenticity.
I want to stand in this place that I am - the pain, the unbelief, the jealousy, the bitterness, the anger, the unwillingness to forgive - and find that you meet me here.
I believe you Jesus.
That if I confess my sin you are faithful and just to forgive and purify (1 John 1:9).
That by your wounds, I am healed (1 Peter 2:24).
Holy Spirit, I sense you asking me what Jesus asked the man at the pool so many years ago, “Do you want to be healed?” (John 5:6).
Yes, God.
I desire your healing and I open up my heart and mind and life to you, even now.
In the healing name of Jesus,
Amen
