How do you stay madly in love forever?
The Mad About Marriage Seminar is marriage education, not marriage counseling. Mike shares lots of stories – some from his own life – and lots of practical advice that you can really use. He also examines some of the issues that can derail marriages, drawing on current research and the expertise of a variety of scholars, authors, and psychologists to find solutions to the problems. There are some "big" issues that have a very destructive effect on marriage. Some of these issues are easily identified, but some of the most destructive may be present in marriages without couples recognizing their existence. Couples struggle along, trying unsuccessfully to create a positive relationship, not realizing why their efforts at marital bliss seem thwarted. It's important for the success of the marriage to identify and deal with negative issues. The presentations Sabbath morning are free and open to the public. Ashten and Trent Fleming invite us once again to have prepared bags to assist the homeless not only during the holiday season, but throughout the year. Although both men and women experience homelessness, women are at particular risk. Find below a checklist to help you assemble a bag or several bags to have available in your car.
The items listed are suggestions for what to place in the blessing bag. Customize your bag, knowing you can put more or less of the checklist items. If you don’t have a handbag or tote to use, you can always use gallon or quart size, clear, ziplock bags. Thanks for being the best neighbors!

Esteban Deku, who chose to attend SWAU in large part because of its spiritual environment, now works in the Office of Spiritual Development. In addition to attending and participating in spiritual life events, he has been part of a volleyball team for intramurals, is treasurer for the Pre-Health Professionals Club and serves on the student senate. He has also found a second home in the residence hall. With masks and daily screenings as part of the norm throughout the semester, Deku felt comfortable participating in a variety of activities and consistently pushing himself to be social.
