We have an opportunity to bask in God’s generosity by accepting His invitation to take part in the things that will have an eternal impact. DONATE TOYS TO REVIVE!
Donate a new, unwrapped toy for a child in need! Pick up an Angel Ornament from the REVIVE Angel Tree located in the foyer. Each ornament will have the age and gender of a child that has registered for our Christmas Toy Give-Away. Then donate a corresponding, new, unwrapped toy that matches your ornament. Place your donations in the REVIVE bins located in the church foyer on Sabbath or during church office hours. All donations must be in by December 6, as these items will be distributed during REVIVE’S Christmas Toy Give-Away! We estimate that we will serve 300 children so every donation matters! GRATEFUL FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT PASTORS
Last week I spent three days at Fuller Seminary by invitation of ATS [Association of Theological Schools] to participate in a Lily Foundation funded project.
It's such an honor to be here with academicians, deans, and presidents from Biola University, Princeton Theological Seminary, Fuller Seminary, Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, SDA Theological Seminary at Andrews University, and theological scholars from a wide array of faith communities.
We've been processing modern day epistles crafted to encourage 21st century pastors in today's ministry challenges and opportunities.
Returning to this campus has been a wonderful and fascinating experience. In the 1900s, I came to @fullerseminary as a bright-eyed doctoral student, looking to change the world. So much has happened in the three decades since, and my eyes now need progressive lenses, but I feel that I'm still bright-hearted, and humbled to be among such an astute and passionate group of academic colleagues.
My prayers continue with Dr. Barnes and his team at ATS as they distill and refine the work we have started. I've returned here in a new century, in a surreal role to me. Feeling strange, but so grateful for the opportunity… —Pastor Allan

DEAR CHURCH: VOICES OF ADVENTIST YOUNG ADULTS
Every day, young adults are deciding whether or not to leave the Church. Rather than simply asking, "Why?" we wanted to ask another question: "Can you tell us your story?" Dear Church is a ten-part series that narratively tells the stories of young adults in the Seventh-day Adventist community. Each episode concludes with the guest sharing a personal letter they’ve written to the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
"If you could say anything to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, what would you say?" This is the question Pastor Aren Rennacker had for young adults in the Seventh-day Adventist community. The answers he began to receive led him to a deeper journey than he expected.
