CHRISTIANS IN A DIGITALLY MEDIATED WORLD // FRIDAY // 7:00PM CST
COVID 19 has taken the digital revolution into hyperdrive, resulting in a reshaping of our social networks in ways that are both inspiring and concerning.
How do we take care of our mental health in a technologically saturated climate? Does using Zoom for literally everything change the way we relate to God? How is technology changing our brains?
This Friday, February 5, at 5pm PST Jennifer Schwirzer and Angelo Grasso, will be discussing mental, emotional, and spiritual health in a digitally mediated world. Brought to you by Arise, click the above icon or here to sign up for this free live webinar event.

MAD ABOUT MARRIAGE SEMINAR // FRIDAY & SATURDAY // FEBRUARY 5-6, 2021
How do you stay madly in love forever?
The Mad About Marriage Seminar is marriage education, not marriage counseling. Mike shares lots of stories – some from his own life – and lots of practical advice that you can really use. He also examines some of the issues that can derail marriages, drawing on current research and the expertise of a variety of scholars, authors, and psychologists to find solutions to the problems.
There are some "big" issues that have a very destructive effect on marriage. Some of these issues are easily identified, but some of the most destructive may be present in marriages without couples recognizing their existence. Couples struggle along, trying unsuccessfully to create a positive relationship, not realizing why their efforts at marital bliss seem thwarted. It's important for the success of the marriage to identify and deal with negative issues.
The presentations Sabbath morning are free and open to the public. Click the above icon or here to register for the seminar.
OUTDOOR CHURCH W/ PASTOR KAYLA // SATURDAY // 9:30AM CST // THE COMMON
Join us on Sabbath mornings, 9:30AM, for an in-person worship service option in the outdoor common area of the Arlington Adventist Church. Bring your chair or blanket and enjoy an informal worship, including prayer and a message—No RSVP required. Let's take advantage of beautiful outdoors to worship together.
This Sabbath, Pastor Kayla Goodman will be sharing, “Flourish.”
She will be exploring learning to be planted in God in the midst of the constant chaos.
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit” —Jeremiah 17:7-8

IF:GATHERING 2021 // VIRTUAL WOMEN’S CONFERENCE // MARCH 5TH & 6TH
God is on the move. Yes, things will fall apart, and yes, things will shut down, but our God cannot be stopped. And we don’t want to miss any part of that. His kingdom is coming. We want His will to be done on this earth as it is in heaven and our heart and prayer is that “on earth as it is in heaven” starts with us. And we would stop wondering if it is possible to change the world. It’s possible.
This year, at IF:Gathering 2021, we are going to talk about how we do that. The theme of those two days is going to be “Even If.” Even if the worst happens, we don’t lose hope. Come join us as we remember that together.
People such as: Jennie Allen, Christine Caine, Mike Todd, John Mark Comer, David Platt, and many more will be joining together on March 5 and 6 to rally us to remember that “Even if the worst happens, we don’t lose hope.”

"Deep Calling: On Being and Growing Disciples" is a wholistic movement – discipleship and disciple-making – that emphasizes a life-long process, not a destination. It’s about making space for God in the every day, bearing witness to transformation in the ordinary. It’s about knowing truth and experiencing Truth. It’s about learning to listen to the voice of God. It’s about satisfying your longing with the only One who can satisfy your soul. All are invited. All are welcome to answer the deep call of God.

LEADERS RAISE UP LEADERS
Realizing that the extinction of Christianity is just a generation away, leaders pour into the next generation, empowering young leaders to stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before.

A great way to build relationships and form a sense of community is by participating in smaller group gatherings and events we call LIFEgroups. Whether you enjoy team sports, Bible study, or informal conversation, we have an array of LIFEgroups from which to choose.
So we're looking for people willing to lead LIFEgroups. No experience is required, just a willingness to be trained and mentored, then start the adventure of doing life together. If you are interested, please let us know of your interest by emailing LIFEgroups@ygchurch.com
Our hope is all our members will try one or more of our LIFEgroups and develop great relationships. At Younger Generation Church [YG], experiencing community with each other is one of the best ways we live out our love for Jesus. We invite you to join a group discussion, activity, or social event. Let's do life. . . together.
