foundation is a young adult Bible study. spending time together studying the Word of God on Sabbath afternoons.
This name was inspired by the concept of Christ being our One True Sure Foundation.
“So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic.” —Isaiah 28:16
”Personally, this concept stands out to me because there are so many things that society tells young people to rely on: appearances, wealth, education, social media, etc. Even within the church, our focus can be on other things, which are important as well, but I believe it’s time we go back to weightier matters. 2 Peter 1:3 says, ‘His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.’ There are so many young adults trying to live a Godly life without the right tools! Many of us think we have to invent our own or use what the world tells us. He has given them all to us. One prominent way He does this is through the Word.” —Dani

REMEMBRANCE SERVICE // JAN 21, 5PM // ARLINGTON SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH
Grief can be a lonely experience. Our church has begun a practice of coming together at the start of each new year to share in the burden of each other's grief, and to remember and honor those we have laid to rest. Whether your loss is recent or if you are grieving a loss from another period of life, it is our hope that this service is a meaningful way for you to reflect on the significance your loved one had to you and find support within our community. Join us on January 21, at 5pm for this reflective service.
Part of our service will include a “reading of the names." If you would like for the name(s) of your loved one(s) to be included in the public reading, we invite you to submit their name and a picture if you so desire. To send names and pictures CLICK HERE or on the image above.
FREE MAMMOGRAMS & CERVICAL SCREENINGS (PAP Test)
REVIVE is partnering with UT Southwestern to host a mobile clinic that will offer FREE Mammograms and Cervical Screenings on February 1, 2023, from 8:30am to 3:00pm. The mobile unit will be stationed in the Arlington Church parking lot. If you are older than 40, uninsured, and have not been screened in the last 12 months, you qualify to receive a FREE Mammogram &/or Cervical Screening. I AM YG: ROLANDO LERMA, JR.
Last semester @r0lip0li0li served as @ygchurch music and worship intern, our first since the inception of our young adult ministry. In addition to worship leading, he worked in support of @sarenae for the @southwesternau scholarship showcase where @swausingers were featured.

I AM YG: JASON BURKE
For over a decade @choochoolife has served @ygchurch as a media team director. When @aamphd first met him, Jason was serving in that same capacity at @ucollegene as a student leader. For nearly a decade, he has also served as YG’s financial manager. His involvement in both capacities has made him a long time member of lead team, finance committee, and a variety of other teams that help the church and YG operate smoothly.
Although often behind the scenes, he has always had a big impact on stage, including the world stage. Jason was part of the inception of Arlington Young Professionals which has evolved into Adventist Young Professionals, lauding over 6,000 members world wide.

WE ARE YG: KYLE & MEGHAN
This year @dramafreekyle served as @ygchurch pastoral intern. In his senior year as a theology major at @southwesternau Kyle is also serving as assistant chaplain with @sladswau However this has not hindered his full engagement of our young adult ministry. Whether doing baptismal Bible studies, preaching, supporting LIFEgroups, or mentoring students, Pastor Kyle is all in.
His fiancé @meghawatt24 has matched his commitment and has led worship and joined @foundation.yg while completing her @swaunursing senior year at SWAU.
What a thrill to have both Kyle and Meghan join our @ygchurch membership with plans to be wed next year! Thank you Kyle and Meghan for your leadership and commitment to our vibrant young adult ministry. #BeJesus #BeYG
WE ARE YG: THE LIVINGTONS
For over two decades, the Livingston family have been active members of @ygchurch
[r to l] Nick Livingston began serving at YG before he was 9 y/o, joining his parents is volunteering for special events also helping with communion/foot washing. Nick continues now as a high school student to serve on the church media team. @livingston7777 is a deacon for the church serving in many capacities. @bolivingston_lostforever served last year as YG Elder and continues in 2023 as our representative on the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church board.

I AM YG: MICHAEL DEMIAR
For over a decade @gramcrackers7 has lent his creative talents to @ygchurch and many other churches throughout the DFW Metroplex.
Over the years he has served as YG’s associate music director, also part of our lead team and media team. This past year he took lead as Creative Director and coordinated the remodeling of the Arlington Life Today studio space.
