19 And so you are no longer called outcasts and wanderers but citizens with God’s people, members of God’s holy family, and residents of His household. 20 You are being built on a solid foundation: the message of the prophets and the voices of God’s chosen emissaries with Jesus, the Anointed Himself, the precious cornerstone. 21 The building is joined together stone by stone—all of us chosen and sealed in Him, rising up to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 In Him you are being built together, creating a sacred dwelling place among you where God can live in the Spirit. —Ephesians 2:19-22 [Voice]

COMING EVENTS

RELATIONSHIFT WEBINAR // SEP 12, 12:00PM CENTRAL // RIGHTNOW VIRTUAL TRAINING
Relationships are central to Jesus’s model of discipleship. Yet many church leaders find themselves lonely, exhausted, and lacking the kind of relationships Jesus encouraged. How do we change this?

Church leaders can beat loneliness and burnout by focusing on relational discipleship—not only in their congregations but in their own lives, too.

In this free one-hour webinar, author and senior pastor Jim Putman will discuss how church leaders can cultivate authentic relational discipleship in their lives and ministries. You’ll learn practical steps to help you shift your focus away from discipleship programs and toward authentic discipleship relationships.

While these programs can be useful, discipleship is really about the relationships that come out of programs. When church leaders live connected lives of fellowship, they provide a model for their ministries to follow, resulting in a church that grows effectively. Click the above icon to register.

SUPPORT FOR DAVIS FAMILY
August 29 update from Kathy:
"Rylie update: she is improving every day! Thanks for your continued prayers! If you look at her she looks exactly like the Rylie everyone knows. She still needs some healing on the inside. Her kidney function has improved some which is a miracle! We have been praying and fighting for her to be seen by doctors this week. I am just praying that her numbers are still going the right way! She decided it would not be good for her to just hang out all day thinking about all this so she is enrolled at SWAU. She’s tired but says she wants to try and do this. I went back to teaching at SWAU on Monday. I love all my people everywhere thank you for all the love and prayers and you all fill our cup! Thank you for all the hugs this week! I needed them so much! Thank you to all the people that I know have been holding us close from afar! Your kindness and love is VALUED! Rylie continues to be inspired by all the prayers and love sent her way. Sometimes overwhelmed by all that has happened in such a short time but she is always grateful!"

As a church family, one of the most practical ways to immediately support the Davis family during this critical time is through financial contributions - We've set up a GoFundMe to raise funds to help cover various expenses. Please consider making any size of donation you're able to - the strength of our community is in our numbers! Thank you for continuing to pray for the Davis family, and thank you for considering a contribution to help them make it through this difficult time!

FREEDOM TO PRAISE THE LORD
“I praise GOD for the honor of greeting, because I connected with so many faces, new to me, but intertwined with me through YG. Throughout the day and especially at Night of Worship, I deeply felt the presence of the Lord flow through my spirit as I worshiped. YG’s 20th anniversary was definitely an unforgettable experience.” —Nyla Francis, YG Elder in Training

"Worship for me is about giving God the honor and glory. YG’s 20th anniversary was amazing! Having an opportunity to participate in the worship experience was very rewarding. Also seeing our children participate and enjoy serving and singing for Jesus meant the world to me. The entire day was filled with love, joy, good food, and such great memories.” —Eunice Francis, YG Member

“YG’s 20th Anniversary helped me realize that at the young age of 14, how blessed I am to be put into a safe community where I can praise the name of the Lord with no shame.” —Ethan Francis, YG Elder in Training
