ZUZU’S MISSION UPDATE
Hello YG, I’m excited to share with you a brand new newsletter on how my mission trip has been going! The heart of our outreach is to reach the isolated—to show the love of Jesus to those who are often unseen and unreached due to distance, culture, or circumstance.
We spent this month in the beautiful regions of Yelapa and Bucerías. It’s been an incredible experience—building genuine relationships with the people of Mexico, enjoying the amazing food, soaking in the stunning beaches and natural beauty—but most importantly, sharing the love and hope of Jesus.
My desire is to preach the gospel and make disciples of all nations as Jesus commanded. That is why I left everything behind, got on a ship and went to some of most isolated villages in Mexico, to preach Jesus. I pray you're encouraged as you read this update on what God has done during our first month of outreach in Yelapa and beyond. . . [Click the above icon for the full update newsletter.]

“As we close out our Scripture journey this week, I want to rally us around worry. Whether we’re “worst-case scenario” or people-pleasing worriers, we often worry about things that likely will never come to pass—things that simply enter our thoughts as a distraction to what is true. In fact, one study suggests that 91% of things we worry about will never happen; they’re simply “false alarms."
Worry is a liar fueled by fear and our need for control.
So when those “false alarms” ring in our minds, we need something that’s true. And the truth is that Jesus both wants to and is able to carry what worries you. He can handle even the smallest worries to the largest, most extravagant situations that your mind may create.
In the Message paraphrase of Philippians 4:6, Paul gives us this encouragement: “Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.”
As we invite God into our worry-worn minds this week, I pray that Scripture would remind you of how deeply loved you are. If you’re interceding for the worries of a loved one, I pray that through you, they can release their worries to an Almighty God who has already gone before them—who has already gone before all of us—and promises victory.” —Louie Giglio
