WINTER WEATHER EVENT // UPDATE

We are monitoring a potential winter weather event expected to affect the DFW area beginning Friday night. According to our resident weather expert, Reggie Herman, extreme cold and moisture—two major indicators of severe Texas winter weather—are currently present. We will continue to track conditions and will communicate any decisions regarding Sabbath services as soon as possible. Please prioritize your safety.
Please keep an eye on our social media channels and the church website for the most up-to-date information. We will share any decisions as soon as they are made, both online and through email, so everyone can stay informed and safe.

YG SPEAKER: ODDIE OLAZARAN, MDIV
Oddie Olazaran currently serves as the High School pastor for the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church. He received his MDiv from the Andrews Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary with a concentration in Youth and Young Adult Ministry. Throughout his ministry, Oddie has focused on working with and mentoring the next generation. He and his wife, Madeline, have two beautiful dogs and enjoy outdoor adventures such as rock climbing, backpacking, and hiking.

QUIET HOUR MISSION TRIP // JUN 15-29 // MAUN, BOTSWANA
You are invited to join a mission to Botswana and see how God can work through you and other young adults to share His saving grace. Day assignments include helping at health clinics and visiting in the various neighborhoods along with the gospel workers who have started Bible studies in advance of our meetings. In the evenings, we will present a sermon series and a children's program. It is always rewarding to see the people we first meet at a clinic come to the nightly meetings and perhaps make a life-altering decision for Christ.
Located along the Thamalakane River, Maun has grown rapidly from a rural cattle ranching town into the second-largest village in Botswana. Among the modern stores and safari operations, you will see local entrepreneurs selling from carts along with wild donkeys and goats that roam freely on the streets. Jewlz Davis is a dedicated follower of Jesus and remote member of @ygchurch. He is currently a practicing attorney in the nation’s capital. Outside of his professional pursuits, Jewlz continues to be an enthusiastic participant in local church activities and community outreach. With a firm foundation in faith and law, Jewlz is poised to make a significant impact in both fields. He serves among YG’s Pastors in Residence.
