PURSUE GOD
Last weekend’s message by Pastor A Allan Martin, Global Youth Day: Reaching Out:
#GYD21 REACHING OUT
When Jesus calls us to love our neighbor as ourselves, He is calling us to be like Himself.
“Just then a religion scholar stood up with a question to test Jesus. “Teacher, what do I need to do to get eternal life?” He answered, “What’s written in God’s Law? How do you interpret it?” He said, “That you love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and muscle and intelligence—and that you love your neighbor as well as you do yourself.” “Good answer!” said Jesus. “Do it and you’ll live.” Looking for a loophole, he asked, “And just how would you define ‘neighbor’?”” —Luke 10:25-29 MSG
GLOBAL YOUTH DAY // MARCH 20
A worldwide endeavor of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Youth Department — including the thirteen divisions, MENA Union and the Israel field — Global Youth Day [GYD] features Adventist young people reaching out to their communities with compassion and acts of service.
Over March 20th, as in years past, the 24-hour period will showcase on social media the news reports, testimony videos, and worldwide activity registering millions of digital impressions of next generations being the “hands and feet of Jesus.”
This year, as Global Youth Day commences, three “kick-off” programs were held to launch the event in each subsequent portion of the world as March 20th arrives to those world divisions.
• Friday, March 19th, 4:00PM CDT, https://youtu.be/QUb3UuF0hs8
• Saturday, March 20th, 4:00AM CDT, https://youtu.be/ymJefe-iBHM
• Saturday March 20th, 10:00AM CDT, https://youtu.be/kWG87rYypsg
Global Youth Day has become a highlighted opportunity for the Seventh-day Adventist Church to compassionately reach out to neighborhoods and communities in villages, towns, and cities around the world. In year's past Global Youth Day has mobilized thousands of young people, and we have hopes to bless our Adventist youth as they intend to "Reach Out." #ReachingOut #GYD21 #BeTheSermon #BeJesus #BeYG @ygchurch

HUMANS OF ADVENTISM: THE SERIES
HoA: The Series is intentionally designed to spark conversations.
Taken from over 40 interviews filmed across the United States, this 10-episode series contains a diverse set of stories and experiences - even conflicting values at times. Instead of telling you what to think and summarizing the episodes for you, our vision is that these episodes will be watched together and lead to deep discussions about the viewers’ own life experiences. We’ve attempted to cut to the heart of what drives human beings - questions of purpose and meaning, experiences of witnessing God’s work firsthand, and even navigating this new world of remote learning, church shutdowns, and lost employment.
Because this is not a theological project, but a relational one, we envision this series being used on a Sabbath afternoon or midweek small group. It can be easily adapted to remote watch parties and zoom small group discussions. But however you decide to share, we believe this will be an engaging, bonding experience for any group looking to deepen their relationships to each other and their neighbors.

INSPIRE HOPE // SHARE GRACE
THE PLUS ONE CHALLENGE
During the Easter season and beyond, there are ample opportunities to introduce your friends, family, neighbors, classmates and co-workers to your faith. Your challenge/mission is to make a simple invitation to at least one person; Invite them to things you already like to do and to places you already like to go. Invite just one--Plus One. It's a great place to start.
