BILLY RAY COLVIN, JR. MEMORIAL // JUL 1, 1:00PM // ARLINGTON SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH
A memorial service honoring Billy Ray Colvin, Jr., will be held on Monday, July 1, at 1:00p at the Arlington Adventist Church, 4409 Pleasantview Drive, in Arlington, TX.
He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Colvin, Sr, and younger brother, Byron Dean Colvin. Survived by his wife of 28 years, Mindy, daughters Donna and Billie of Arlington, mother Sharon Colvin of Granbury, sister Tina Turnbull of Granbury, nephews Bradley Colvin (Kortney) of Crowley, James Turnbull of Granbury, PJ Turnbull of Granbury, and Stephen Hays (Shayla) of Coeur d’Alene, ID.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest you consider a donation to any of the following organizations, all of which have played a big role in the Colvin family over the years:

EMOTIONAL GRANULARITY

Emotional granularity is an individual's ability to differentiate between the specificity of their emotions. Similar to how an interior decorator is aware of fine gradations in shades of blue, where others might see a single color, an individual with high emotional granularity would be able to discriminate between their emotions that all fall within the same level of valence and arousal, labeling their experiences with discrete emotion words. The research general points to the positive impact of emotional granularity having less episodes of anxiety and depression.
