YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY TOUR COMES TO DFW METROPLEX
ATTENTION: YG Young Adults [ages 18-35]: TXYoungAdults has officially rolled out info for the YAM TOUR (Young Adult Ministry Tour), with the first stop coming to The Keene Church!
Younger Generation Church is covering the cost for our church's Young Adults. Simply use the code "YAM-YG" as you complete registration.
This tour is a response to the feedback we have received from our Young Adults in Texas and some of the needs they expressed in our time together. Most prominent was the desire for safe space to have Christ-centered conversations about all things relevant to Young Adults today. Second was the need to have programming brought to their areas to make travel easier. Third was an opportunity to gather with other Young Adults seeking Jesus and a deeper walk with Him.
This tour is an effort to “scratch where it itches”. We are offering an opportunity to gather for a weekend and hold space for conversations that lead us to Christ. We will have “Team Huddles” that walk through a topic(s) over four sessions lead by individuals/couples who are wise in that area, but also gifted in listening. These huddles aren’t meant to be straight lectures, rather a conversation that leads to well rounded, scripture based insight.
The Team Huddles we have scheduled are "Hot Topic" where we talk through subjects that may not be typical in our church settings or can be a bit controversial because we approach it in a defensive stance… We will poll our Young Adults for topics they would like to discuss and list them on our area specific flyers.
"The Wait…" This is geared for single young adults who are waiting on the Lord or in a general season of waiting (career, healing, etc).
"Love & Marriage" Is geared towards those who are married or seriously considering marriage. Tips and tools for a lasting marriage, how to fight for love, addressing baggage, etc.
And lastly, "The Family Playbook" is geared towards Young Adult Parents or married couples looking to begin a family. What does it mean to be Godly parents, what is our calling as parents, how can we set our children up for success emotionally, spiritually, physically, etc.
A tentative schedule is available at TXYoungAdults social media feeds. Meals will be provided, but lodging will be up to those attending. It will be $50 for registration for this event, including our tour finale, Young Adult Retreat, at Lake Whitney Ranch.
Attend multiple stops and sign up for different tracks at each! We do ask that you remain on the same “Team” for our huddles the entire weekend as our sessions will build on each other.

We’ll gather on the last Friday evening of this month at 7PM for food, fun, fellowship, and spiritual discovery as we take a deeper look into our bibles. Together, we’ll bring our questions to the table any and all questions and open our bibles to what Gods answers are.
No matter your age or stage of life, or spiritual journey, you’re welcome here! Whether you’re new to Bible study or a seasoned reader, this is a great opportunity to connect with others, ask questions, comment and experience God’s presence in a fresh way.

AdventHealth is pleased to announce that applications to our Leadership Internship and Leadership Residency Programs are now open!
The AdventHealth Leadership Internship is an 11-week internship experience that will help interns learn about the exciting careers available in healthcare. The program allows interns to collaborate with various departments and teams, giving them a clearer understanding of their career interests post-graduation. Through our program, interns can gain meaningful insight into AdventHealth’s leadership operations as they work side-by-side with our leaders, observe organizational dynamics, participate in meetings and complete project assignments. The AdventHealth Leadership Internship is designed for college Juniors and Seniors who are interested in a dynamic career in healthcare.

SWAU PASTORAL INTERN: MAXWELL GUCAKE
Pastor Maxwell Gucake is from the Fiji Islands. He is California born, but raised in the beautiful islands of Fiji. He is happily married to his lovely wife Dianne and they have two children. Jericho his son and Zamora his daughter. He served in the United States Army for close to 10 years. Now he is currently a student at Southwestern University studying Theology to join the Army of the Lord. God has been consistently working in their lives as he and his family have been involved within ministry.
SWAU PASTORAL INTERN: RUBEN NAJERA
My name is Ruben Najera, I was raised in California but came to Texas as fast as I could. I am happily married and have 4 wonderful kids. I have a huge passion for ministry, especially working with the youth. I am a student at Southwestern University currently working on my last year of theological studies. My goal in ministry is to show the love of Jesus with everyone I encounter.
SDATS PASTORAL RESIDENT: YANIRA MARES
My name is Yanira Mares. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 25 years and am a proud mother of four and grandmother to one grandson. After many years of sensing God’s call, I fully surrendered to His leading and embraced the path of pastoral ministry. I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry at Andrews University and am encouraged by the faith and leadership of women like Deborah, who remind me that God equips those He calls.

A highlight was the opportunity at YG Church to honor Dr. Judy Wilson who has served as the UTA/ACF sponsor for 25 years.
