19 And so you are no longer called outcasts and wanderers but citizens with God’s people, members of God’s holy family, and residents of His household. 20 You are being built on a solid foundation: the message of the prophets and the voices of God’s chosen emissaries with Jesus, the Anointed Himself, the precious cornerstone. 21 The building is joined together stone by stone—all of us chosen and sealed in Him, rising up to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 In Him you are being built together, creating a sacred dwelling place among you where God can live in the Spirit. —Ephesians 2:19-22 [Voice]

We were created for community. Join Younger Generation Church in their new series, "Better Together: Built For Community," Saturdays, 10:15AM Central. We would love to see you in person at Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4409 Pleasantview Drive, Arlington, TX 76017-1427.

DEAR CHURCH: VOICES OF ADVENTIST YOUNG ADULTS
Every day, young adults are deciding whether or not to leave the Church. Rather than simply asking, "Why?" we wanted to ask another question: "Can you tell us your story?" Dear Church is a ten-part series that narratively tells the stories of young adults in the Seventh-day Adventist community. Each episode concludes with the guest sharing a personal letter they’ve written to the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

"If you could say anything to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, what would you say?" This is the question Pastor Aren Rennacker had for young adults in the Seventh-day Adventist community. The answers he began to receive led him to a deeper journey than he expected.

In this first episode of ten, listen as Pastor Aren speaks with various young adults, as well as one of the leading voices for young adult involvement in the Adventist Church. Click the above icon or here to listen to episode one on Spotify.

ADVENT NEXT: GROWING YOUNG NEXT GENERATION CHURCH
[Premiered April 30, 2020] Advent Next is a theological podcast curated for curious faith discussions. Our guest is Dr. A. Allan Martin, the teaching pastor at Younger Generation Church. In our current era of quarantine and isolation, I’m sure the question on many minds is how will the church create community in the days ahead? One thing I’m sure we’ve learned, by being deprived of it, is that community IS deeply important. Community is vitally connected to what it means to be human. So this episdoe, we have Dr. Martin, a former professor at Andrews University and research facilitator for one of Barna Group’s studies called Adventist Millennial Research exploring what are the key components for growing vibrant communities of faith.

GRATITUDE

INTERNATIONAL DAY 2024: THESE ARE THEY
Thank you to everyone who came out to this year's International Day at Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church. Special gratitude to Hayley, Barbara, and their team for their vision, dream, and hard work to bring it all to fruition.

And they sang a new song with these words: “You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.” —Revelation‬ ‭5‬:‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands. And they were shouting with a great roar, “Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!” —Revelation 7:9-10 NLT

TEXAS CONFERENCE TEAM SERVES AT REVIVE COMMUNITY CARE
This week in the office, we are celebrating Home Week! We have implemented a travel moratorium to ensure that all our staff can come together and participate in team-building activities. Today, we had the incredible privilege of partnering with the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church community service ministry, Revive Community Care, under the leadership of Pastor Heidi Jackson.

It was a truly humbling experience to serve hundreds of families in need today. The opportunity to make a positive impact and bring relief to the community was a blessing.

I am immensely grateful for our amazing team who came together with compassion, dedication, and a shared goal of giving back to those who need it most. Thank you to each and every one of you for your hard work, commitment, and willingness to make a difference.

Let's continue to spread love, kindness, and support as we work together to uplift our community. Together As One, we can achieve great things! -- Dr. Elton DeMoraes, President, Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists
