We’re so grateful for everyone who participated, volunteered, and contributed for this year’s Operation Christmas Child! Over 200 boxes were stuffed full of love and sent this week.

YG’s Outreach Coordinator, Princess Demiar shared, “All the shoeboxes were safely dropped off at Samaritan’s Purse depot this morning. It was overwhelming to hear that their staff said we were one of their answered prayers, because they've been expecting us and have been praying for us through this Christmas project. We even prayed over the boxes before they shipped them off. So it was an awesome experience.”

The Bible is a book for all people and all times. Unfortunately, this incredible collection of literature has become alienating and confusing to many of the very people who it should be helping the most.

REVIVE CHRISTMAS WISH TOY DRIVE
YG is partnering with Revive Community Care and Women's Ministry to spread a little cheer over the holidays by bringing a NEW, unwrapped toy to deposit in the Revive toy bins! Your donations will go towards ensuring that Revive families have a very merry Christmas! Toys will be given away to families in need during a Special Toy Store that will be open on December 18, 2019!

While it may seem a little early to think about the holidays, we are intentionally getting a head start on our toy drive, to ensure that we have enough toys to give out to every family in need. We would love to have toys for all ages. Therefore, for those of you with school-age children, we ask that you pick a NEW, unwrapped toy the same age and gender of your child or grandchild to deposit in a Revive Toy Bin. If you do not have a school-aged child, any NEW, unwrapped toy will do! We hope to partner with you to make this holiday season bright for everyone! Darla Lauterbach Reeves will be speaking for Younger Generation Church. She blogs at thelovewecrave.com. She has recently released a book entitled, "He Loves Me THAT Much?”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Darla’s new book illuminates the reader through different stories about how God crafts a path in the lives of His people to guide them toward a clearer and comforting place. Grab an extra basket at the store and fill it with food blessings for a family in need because it’s time for our Revive Community Care Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive! Look over the shopping list above to shop for the needed basket items. Then bring your donated items and place them in the Revive Grocery Carts located at the entrance of the foyer.
